Here's what my students
are saying...

"I first started taking lessons from Stephen in the summer of 2009.
I was going into my freshman year at St. Johns Prep High School in Danvers, Massachusetts with high expectations for making
the golf team. Coming into the lessons I was a decent golfer and shot in the high 80's low 90's. I did not have the greatest
swing, but my athleticism made me a good player. After working with Stephen for about a month he fixed my golf swing for me
to shoot the best possible round i could with only being coached for 4 weeks. In August, I had tryouts for golf in which I
shot three rounds all in the low 80's with the help of Stephen. Within a month I shaved about nine strokes off of my average
being coached by him. As a result I became the number one golfer for the junior varsity team at the Prep. Out of all the things
Stephen has taught me throughout this past few months I always think of one thing on the golf course which is, you never want
to over think things. He told me if I hit a bad shot just clear your mind of everything and start over on the next shot to
minimize your mistakes. In the months that I have worked with him it is amazing even to myself how much i have improved. Before
I started working with Stephen I really only golfed about once a week with my dad, I just didn't have the ambition to go out
and play golf more than that but working with Stephen has made me realize that if I went out and played more often I could
get a lot better at golf and have a future in it. Stephen has taught me so much in these past few months, I am excited to
work ahead with him and I know he will continue to make me a better overall player at every aspect of the game."
- Brandon Bingel Peabody, MA "When
I first started with Stephen, I had only been on a golf course twice in my life. My goal was to put the ball in the air consistently
and start learning some golf fundamentals. Stephen was able to quickly change my goals from putting the ball in the air to
breaking 100. My second time on the golf course, 100 was broken. So, we changed my goal to breaking 90. Two months later,
90 was broken. The rest of my season, my goal was to play in the 80s consistently. Well, that goal was met too. Our goal by
the end of this season is to break 80. Within one year, my expectations went from putting the ball in the air to playing the
game at a strong level and becoming a better all around golfer. Stephen’s ability to communicate with me on a level
that I understand, and use examples and analogies that I can relate to, make each lesson extremely valuable. Some of most
our most productive lessons have come when we barely work on mechanics or practice, but rather spend a significant amount
of time talking about mental part of the game, the difference between what I feel and what really is happening in the swing,
and how to approach the game on the golf course." -

Medford, MA "I've been working with Stephen
for two years and I've seen my handicap go from a 19 - 11. More importantly Stephen has helped me to understand
the technical aspects of the game whether it's my swing, my short game or my putting I have gained an understanding of how
to play the game given different scenarios. I have found the video aspect of the training to be most
helpful in seeing the proper swing and then feeling it. " - Lou Maiuri Topsfield, MA
"I have spent the last three years working with Stephen, and during these years
I have won a Junior Championship Title and have been the runner-up twice. I also started on the high school varsity
golf team my first three years. The last two seasons I have been the number one point scorer and MVP of the team.
I have been able to play in the state tournament all three seasons, and qualified individuallly for
the state finals this season I was accepted to go down to Pinehurst North Carolina to play in the North Shore Junior Amateur
Tournament, which Stephen has helped me through. Not only has he helped me with the physical aspects of my game, but
he has helped me with the emotional and mental part of it. He has taught me to keep my composure, stay calm, and play
one shot at a time. This has helped me drop my handicap from an eighteen down to a three.
I am a junior at Lynnfield High School, and look forward to continue working with Stephen through the end of my junior year,
all through my senior year, and hopefully through my college years as a collegiate golfer." - Paul O'Brien Lynnfield, MA "For the past two years Stephen has been my golf instructor. From my very first
lesson, I began hitting the ball farther and straighter than ever before. His encouragement and constant support has made
me strive for more in my game. Whether it was my swing, my short game or my putting, Stephen was able to adjust and correct
my inconsistencies and teach me the proper techniques. Immediately I was getting results! My scores
dropped, my confidence soared and my love for the game grew. It is Stephen’s great golf knowledge
coupled with his enthusiasm and love of the game that makes him a tremendous instructor and more importantly my “golf
whisperer!” - Sandra Petti

"I am a golfer at the collegiate level trying to elevate my
golf game to the next level. Stephen and I began working together in May of 2006 and since then I have began to understand
the science of MY golf swing. In addition to working on the physical aspects of the game, Stephen has
greatly shaped the way I approach competitive golf mentally and the way I manage my game on the golf course." - Nick Antonelli Salem State Golf "I have been a student of Stephen’s for three
years. During that time, Stephen has adjusted and customized my swing specifically for me and my body limitations. Each lesson
was tailor made for me! Then, through much practice, I was able to apply all of Stephens’s golf techniques and the results
followed. Today I am striking the ball much better and my distance has greatly improved. I am playing the game more consistently
and my confidence on the golf course has grown. I credit Stephen with taking my game to the next level. His professionalism
and patience is invaluable to any golfer at any level." - Bob Keating Stoneham, MA
"During
the 4 years working with Stephen, I have captured Two Club Championship Titles and one runner-up finish. I have past
my playing ability test and have recently passed all my requirements of the Professional Golfers' Association of America.
I was elected to membership in January 2009 and am currently a Class A PGA Professional!" - Craig McLaughlin Woburn, MA "Stephen, I want to thank you for the great lessons this past season.
My game and my swing have been transformed this year. It was amazing to see the improvement in my swing on video from
my first lesson to what it looks like today. My index has dropped from 3.5 to 0.6 A huge improvement! My ball
striking, particularly my irons/approach shot is like night and day. My shots are now solid with a strong, penetrating
flight and on target. I have gained significant distance as well-at least 20 yards on average with my driver.
Par 5's which I typically had to lay up I now routinely go for, par 5's that I could never
quite reach I can get home in two, and Par 4's that I would typically have a 5 iron (even a 4 iron) in I now normally hit
a 7 iron (or a 8 iron) approach shot. In addition, with your help my putting has significantly improved-I drain many
more significant putts, my distance control is right on the mark, and overall my putts are much more solid. One of the
most valuable things that I have learned, is when I do miss a shot, I KNOW WHY AND HOW TO FIX IT during the round. I
look forward to continuing to work with you."
- Stacey Arbetter N. Reading, MA
"Two years ago I was ready
to give up golf. My handicap was 25; I tried new clubs, I went to the range, I practiced my putting, nothing seemed
to help. I was frustrated. Steve came highly recommended. His instruction skills are precise and easy to
follow, he has great patience and a relaxed style. My game improved remarkably. My handicap
is now a 12! Thanks to Steve, I now enjoy golfing and have much more confidence on the course. - Louis Finocchiaro
Austin Prep Hockey
Coach "My time with Steve has enabled me to learn the game the proper way and understand
the golf swing and theories of golf. My enjoyment of the game is much greater than I ever expected. Steve has a unique
teaching philosophy of adapting to each of his students and not teaching a cookie cutter swing. Practicing his drills
has helped me enormously with my game and his preparation and planning goes above and beyond what I ever expected.
Steve has a genuine interest in his student’s success and wishes to improve upon and correct our failures. I have
recommended Steve too many friends and hold him in the highest regard as a teaching professional." - Michael Carlson
Saugus, MA "I was a
20 handicap before I came down with a bad case of the shanks. I went from not being able to hit an iron in the air to
a couple of my best rounds ever. I shot a 75 and a 79 at Beverly Golf and Tennis. I am now currently a 12 handicap
and continue to see Stephen on a regular basis."
- Dan McGrath

"I worked with Stephen once or twice a week
indoors during the winter months. When the good weather came, I immediately saw a huge improved in my game. I
happen to have two hole-in-ones within a 13 day stretch. I dropped my handicap from a 26 to a 12 by the completion
of that season." - Gerry Squires
